Tefcold Trojan
The Trojan range from Tefcold is a series of remote multideck display fridges built for chilled grab-and-go retail. Trojan cabinets run from a remote refrigeration system rather than a built-in compressor and are available in full glass-door and open-fronted versions, suiting convenience stores, forecourts, supermarkets, farm shops, butchers and food-to-go counters that want an energy-efficient, well-lit chilled display.

Key specifications
Trojan remote multidecks hold −1 to +5°C on R449a refrigerant with fully automatic, fan-assisted cooling, and are rated for fresh meat. The full-glass-door range runs in five widths — T14, T20, T26, T32 and T38 — each available in a standard or Extended Height build (approximately 2,079mm and 2,236mm high), and 784mm deep. Features include hinged double-glazed frameless glass doors, adjustable shelves angled to 7° or 14°, solid 40mm end walls with a mirrored interior, LED lighting and EPOS ticket strips. External width excludes the 42mm end walls each side (for example the T26 is 2,500mm, or 2,584mm with end walls). All Trojan units require a remote refrigeration system and can be multiplexed together for longer runs; professional installation is required.
Tefcold Trojan — FAQs
What sizes and heights does the Trojan range come in?
Five full-glass-door widths — T14, T20, T26, T32 and T38 — each in a standard height or an Extended Height (EHA) build, plus open-fronted options. Cabinets are 784mm deep and can be multiplexed together for longer display runs.
Does the Trojan need a remote refrigeration system?
Yes — Trojan multidecks are remote cabinets, so they connect to a separate condensing unit and must be installed by a refrigeration engineer. They run at −1 to +5°C on R449a and are rated for fresh meat.
