Blizzard is the refrigeration brand of Pentland Wholesale — twenty-five-plus years old, run from a 56,000 sq ft operation in North West England that the company says holds over £3m of stock at any one time. That last number is the whole personality of the brand.

Because in display refrigeration, the spec sheet is only half the decision — the other half is whether the cabinet exists this week. Trade press describes dealers using Blizzard across budget, mid and premium jobs precisely because Pentland’s warehouse answers that second question. When a shop counter dies on a Tuesday, Blizzard is very often the cabinet that can be on the van by Thursday.

The catalogue tells you where it lives: the SIGMA serve-over family and the BTD multidecks are the spine — the flat-glass counters and open-front chillers that front every good deli, farm shop and convenience store. Around them sits a broader kit list than most expect, from heated grab-and-go display to a £5,900 fifteen-grid combi oven. It’s a value brand with range, not a bargain bin.
