Sensible money.
Blizzard is the display refrigeration dealers reach for when the counter has to look premium without the premium invoice — serve-overs, multidecks and counters, backed by a warehouse full of stock. Live prices below.
The story
Blizzard is the refrigeration brand of Pentland Wholesale — twenty-five-plus years old, run from a 56,000 sq ft operation in North West England that the company says holds over £3m of stock at any one time. That last number is the whole personality of the brand.
Because in display refrigeration, the spec sheet is only half the decision — the other half is whether the cabinet exists this week. Trade press describes dealers using Blizzard across budget, mid and premium jobs precisely because Pentland’s warehouse answers that second question. When a shop counter dies on a Tuesday, Blizzard is very often the cabinet that can be on the van by Thursday.
The catalogue tells you where it lives: the SIGMA serve-over family and the BTD multidecks are the spine — the flat-glass counters and open-front chillers that front every good deli, farm shop and convenience store. Around them sits a broader kit list than most expect, from heated grab-and-go display to a £5,900 fifteen-grid combi oven. It’s a value brand with range, not a bargain bin.

The range depth is measured from Craven Cooling’s Store API. Catalogue presence is not an availability promise.
The range in numbers
Blizzard runs from £113.80 + VAT (first full unit) to £5,917.39 + VAT, with a £1,162.30 + VAT median. Accessories run cheaper; every price + VAT.
BLIZZARD 30L Catering Urn MF30 — the range’s true entry; accessories run cheaper still.
The catalogue median is £1,162.30 + VAT — indicatively around £6.22 a week on five-year finance, subject to status. Ask for today’s terms.

Where it earns its keep
Front-of-house display on a working budget — serve-overs, multidecks and counters for delis, farm shops and convenience stores that need the counter to look premium without premium money.
Best-fit customer
The independent adding or replacing display in a hurry — Pentland’s stockholding means Blizzard is often the cabinet that’s actually available this week.

Buying Blizzard wisely
The Dealer’s Five — the questions we answer before any brand earns counter space.
Where does it earn its keep?
Front-of-house display — serve-overs, multidecks and heated counters that make stock look worth buying, at value-brand money.
Who is the best-fit customer?
Independents kitting a counter on a real budget, and anyone who needs the replacement cabinet this week, not this quarter.
Where would we point elsewhere?
Long-term one-brand fit-outs (Tefcold) and kitchen storage (Polar). Blizzard is the shopfront’s friend, not the whole estate.
Which range is the heartland choice?
SIGMA serve-overs and BTD multidecks — the catalogue’s spine and the cabinets that front most of the counters we fit.
What about support and availability?
Pentland claims over £3m of stock in its North West warehouse — availability is the brand’s calling card. We confirm the live position on every order.
