Why this tefcold trojan earns its place
The Trojan T14 FGD EHA is an extended-height remote multideck display fridge, presenting chilled product across 2.01 m² of display area at -1 to +5 °C. As a remote unit it runs from a separate condensing pack rather than a built-in compressor, keeping compressor heat and noise off the shop floor. The extended-height build raises the merchandising face for more vertical display in a compact 1334 mm-wide floor footprint, suited to high-value chilled categories where vertical shelf space drives sales.
On energy it is rated class C, drawing 3,285 kWh a year — about £821 a year at 25p/kWh with an energy efficiency index of 28.6. As a remote cabinet, the compressor sits in a separate condensing pack away from the display, so the load on the sales floor is just the fridge cabinet itself, with LED illumination to enhance product presentation. The 2236 mm height (external) brings stock up to eye level without needing a step.
At 303 kg and 1334 × 784 mm footprint, it slots into narrow aisles where a larger display would dominate. As a remote system, the T14 connects to an external condensing unit via refrigeration pipework — plan the run and condensing-unit siting alongside the cabinet location.
