Why this tefcold trojan earns its place
The TEFCOLD Trojan T32 FGD EHA is a remote, extended-height multideck built to put a large volume of chilled stock on display. Its 4.95 m² display area gives a tall, deep merchandising face — sized for drinks, dairy, food-to-go and packaged fresh lines — so one cabinet carries a wide range of facings. The extended-height build makes the most of vertical space within the cabinet's footprint.
Being a remote cabinet, the T32 runs from a separate condensing unit sited away from the shop floor rather than a built-in compressor, which keeps compressor heat and noise out of the retail space. It carries an energy class of D with a measured energy efficiency index of 36.2%. On its rated consumption of 8216.2 kWh a year that works out at about £2054 a year at 25p/kWh — a figure worth putting through your own tariff before you commit.
As a remote model, the T32 is not plug-and-play: it runs on a compatible remote condensing unit with interconnecting pipework, commissioned and gas-charged by a refrigeration engineer. Plan the condenser location and pipe runs alongside the cabinet position when you specify the installation, so the display face sits where your customers walk and the plant sits where it will not intrude.
