Why this tefcold trojan earns its place
The Trojan T38 FGD EHA is an extended-height, full-glass-door remote multideck built for a long, deep chilled run. The extended-height build stacks more display into the same floor length, presenting 6.03 m² of glass-fronted display behind doors that keep the cold in rather than spilling it into the aisle. It is a fit for a main chilled wall where you need to merchandise a wide range at full height.
Because it is a remote cabinet, the refrigeration is handled by a separate condensing unit sited away from the shop floor, so there is no compressor heat or noise at the display. On energy it is rated class D with an efficiency index of 37.1%, drawing 9,964.5 kWh a year — about £2,491 a year at 25p per kWh, with the real figure moving on your tariff and how hard the doors are worked.
Being remote, this is not a plug-in cabinet: it connects to a remote condensing unit through pipework that a refrigeration engineer should size, install and commission. That makes it a fit for sites already running a central refrigeration pack, or planning one as part of a larger fit-out, rather than a standalone socket install. Our team can specify it against your existing plant and handle installation.
