Why this tefcold trojan earns its place
The TEFCOLD Trojan T26 FGD EHA is a remote multideck display cabinet in the Trojan range, giving 4.95 m² of open, front-facing display for chilled grab-and-go retail. The extended-height build stacks more product facings into the same floor footprint, putting a large range in front of customers on open shelves.
As a remote cabinet it is designed to connect to a separate condensing pack rather than housing its own compressor, which keeps compressor heat and noise off the shop floor. It is rated energy class D and uses 8,216.1 kWh a year — about £2,054 a year at 25p/kWh — with an energy efficiency index of 36.2%.
A remote installation needs the cabinet piped and commissioned to a condensing pack by a refrigeration engineer, so factor the pack and pipework into the fit-out rather than treating it as a plug-in unit. Craven Cooling can advise on specification and installation.
