Why this blast chillers & blast freezer earns its place
The 7450.1300 is a commercial blast chiller, built to do one job well: take hot, freshly cooked food and drive its core temperature down fast for safe cook-chill. Instead of leaving trays to cool slowly on a bench — where food sits too long in the danger zone — a kitchen loads them straight into the blast chiller and pulls the temperature down quickly and under control. It runs on standard 1/1 gastronorm trays, rated for 5 trays per cycle, so it fits into an existing prep and cook workflow rather than forcing a new one.
Fast, controlled chilling brings food from +80 °C down to safe holding temperatures, protecting both quality and extending the working life of a batch. The unit stands 1000 mm tall with an 800 mm footprint, making it the most compact blast chiller format — useful where kitchen space is tight but you still need to chill production batches. Loaded with the food it is rated for and given room around it to shed heat, the unit works hard through a production session.
This is a floor-standing blast chiller for a production or restaurant kitchen, taking 1/1 gastronorm trays as standard. Plan where it sits in relation to your cook line and cold storage so hot trays travel a short, safe route in and chilled batches travel a short route out. Before delivery, check your doorway and access, and leave clearance for airflow and servicing. For exact external dimensions, weight and electrical supply, see the spec table on this page or ask our team to confirm it suits your kitchen.
