Why this prep counter earns its place
The Polar G607 is a three-door G-Series saladette counter fridge, sized for busy kitchens that need more topping capacity than a two-door unit can offer. The top section takes up to four full-size 1/1 GN pans (sold separately) — up to 54 litres of chilled ingredients within arm's reach — while 368 litres of cabinet capacity sits below across three adjustable shelves.
It runs +2°C to +8°C on R600a refrigerant, drawing 280W from a 230V supply, with fan-assisted cooling for rapid recovery once topping lids are closed. Automatic defrost keeps performance consistent, and Polar rates the range for reliable running across a 5°C to 32°C ambient band.
Stainless steel construction runs throughout, with three floor protectors under the adjustable shelves and a 1370mm x 135mm chopping board position built into the counter layout for genuine sandwich or salad line work. The support bar measures 176mm x 19mm, GN trays up to 150mm deep fit the top wells, and solid, self-closing doors reduce temperature loss between openings. It weighs 130kg gross and carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
