Why this triple door saladette fridge earns its place
The 7450.0104 is a saladette: a refrigerated prep counter built around a chilled top well that holds 8× 1/3 GN containers, with three doors of storage in the cabinet beneath. It is the unit that assembly work runs off — salads, sandwiches, pizza toppings, garnishes — keeping the components a cook reaches for all shift chilled and laid out in pans at the front edge, with the surface and the cold cabinet backing them up. The whole unit is stainless steel 18/8, finished in natural stainless, with 60 mm insulation throughout to hold temperature efficiently.
In use, the top GN pans sit in the cold well within arm's reach, so the line assembles straight from the counter without opening a door for every ingredient. The three-door cabinet below chills the backup stock that refills those pans, keeping a full station's worth of product cold in one footprint — a gross volume of 576 litres. Both the well and the cabinet run chilled at +2 to +8 °C for fresh product, with automatic defrost and ventilated cooling to maintain consistent temperature across a service. The digital controller lets you dial in and hold the exact band you need.
At 1795 mm wide and 1085 mm tall, it is a substantial prep counter designed to be worked over on the assembly line rather than tucked away. The three doors mean you access one section at a time, limiting cold loss and letting you organise components by prep station or product type. Plan for the run it drops into, a level floor, clearance for the refrigeration to breathe, and an access route wide enough to bring a unit weighing 180 kg in — check the delivery path and the space before it arrives. It draws 0.32 kW and runs quietly at 42 dB(A).
