Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
The INOMAK ZQFP99 is a double hinged-door saladette built with a full illuminated display case above the refrigerated counter, rather than the lower topping collar of INOMAK's prep-counter range. At 1360 × 700 × 1315mm (W×D×H) it stands considerably taller than a standard saladette, giving proper vertical display space for showing prepared food to customers — cakes, desserts, cold starters or deli items — while keeping working stock chilled below.
Gross capacity below the display is 270 litres across two doors, each fitted with one GN 1/1 shelf and accepting gastronorm containers to a maximum depth of 150mm (not supplied). Cooling is forced-air ventilated, with automatic defrost and automatic evaporation of condensate water confirmed as standard, so there's nothing to empty manually. It's built to Climate Class 4 — confirmed against both the feed and product listing — holding its set temperature at ambients up to +32°C, and draws a 13-amp supply with annual energy consumption rated at 476 kWh, reflecting the extra load of running the illuminated display alongside refrigeration. An evaporator with corrosion protection is fitted as standard, given the constant door-opening a display counter sees through service.
Build is AISI 304 stainless steel exterior and interior including the back, with rounded internal corners for genuine clean-down. Doors are self-closing at 90° on a removable, replaceable magnetic gasket, and the display case itself has internal illumination built in rather than added as an accessory. Legs are adjustable to level the unit on the shop floor, clip-on interior guides let the racking come out fast for cleaning, and at 154kg it's a substantial, permanent fixture once it's sited. Day-to-day operation runs off an embedded digital controller with temperature display.
