Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
The INOMAK ZPZP99 is a double hinged-door gastronorm prep counter fitted with a raised collar — a topping rail sitting above the worktop under a tempered glass vitrine, built for kitchens assembling pizzas, sandwiches or salads directly on the counter rather than carrying components back and forth from a separate fridge. At 1342 × 700 × 985mm (W×D×H), it stands taller than a standard saladette to give proper standing worktop clearance beneath the raised topping section.
Gross capacity is 270 litres below the collar, split across two doors each fitted with one GN 1/1 shelf (530 × 325mm), accepting gastronorm containers to a maximum depth of 150mm (not supplied). Cooling is forced-air ventilated with automatic defrost and automatic condensate evaporation, so there's no manual tray to manage through service. It runs to Climate Class 4, holding its set temperature at ambients up to +32°C, on R290 refrigerant via a standard 13-amp supply — energy consumption is rated at 449 kWh a year. An epoxy-coated evaporator resists the corrosion risk that comes from constant door-opening on a working prep line.
Build is AISI 304 stainless steel exterior and interior including the back, with internal corners rounded off for genuine clean-down. Doors self-close at 90° on a removable magnetic gasket, and the interior runs on clip-on guides so the racking pulls out fast for cleaning. It stands on feet as standard, with castors available as an option for kitchens that need to move it for a deep clean or reconfigure the line. Day-to-day control is via an embedded digital controller with temperature display, and at 126kg it's substantial enough to stay put once it's sited.
