Why this glass topping unit earns its place
The G-Line by TEFCOLD GVC33-180 is a refrigerated topping shelf built to sit on top of a prep counter and hold garnishes and toppings chilled and within reach. Its SS201 stainless construction inside and out wipes down easily and stands up to constant handling on a busy line, and the gastronorm layout keeps prep pans standardised across the run.
Day to day it holds +2 to +8 °C on static cooling under an electronic controller, with a manual defrost routine to run down when the shift allows. At 40 dB it stays quiet enough to sit at the pass, and it uses R600a refrigerant with a 45 g charge. Rated at 1069.5 kWh a year, it costs about £267 a year at 25p/kWh.
The chilled well measures 1450 × 245 × 150 mm (W×D×H), a long, shallow run for lining toppings up along the counter. It runs on a standard 13A supply at 220–240 V, 50 Hz, and weighs 37 kg gross, 32 kg net, so it drops onto an existing bench without special provision.
