Why this glass topping unit earns its place
This is a compact refrigerated topping unit designed to sit on an existing counter and keep 1/3 GN pans of prepped ingredients chilled at the point of service. At 1200 mm wide and 395 mm deep, it fits tight into a service line without dominating space. It suits deli, salad, pizza and burger lines that need toppings cold and to hand without giving up floor space.
The pans sit in a chilled well beneath a glass canopy that keeps them covered and clearly visible through service. It holds a steady +2 to +8 °C, working as a holding unit for already-cold ingredients and keeping them safe across a shift while staff plate and build to order. The glass guard protects against dust and warm kitchen air.
Built in stainless steel 18/8 and weighing 50 kg, it installs as a self-contained countertop unit — no plumbing and no floor build. Set it on a level, load-rated bench near the pass, leave clearance around the condenser for airflow, and it is ready to load with pans. Running cost is minimal: the unit draws just 0.11 kW.
