Why this flat glass serve over fridge earns its place
The BFG250WHV2 is Blizzard's 2.5-metre flat glass serve-over counter — a full 2580 mm run of assisted-service display for a busy deli, butcher or farm-shop front. The flat glass front gives a straight, clean sightline the length of the counter and wipes down quickly between services. At this width it carries a large, unbroken display in a single cabinet, so you present the whole range in one line rather than joining shorter units.
It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, and carries a climate class 3 rating, meaning it is built to hold its display temperature in a warm, busy trading environment rather than only a cool back room. As a serve-over it works front-of-house: product loads from the rear, customers choose from the front, and staff portion and wrap. The exact temperature band and energy figures are listed in the specification table below.
Plan the install around a 2580 × 940 × 1200 mm footprint and a 330 kg weight. At 330 kg this is a substantial lift — line up enough people and a clear route, and confirm the floor and gangway suit it. The 940 mm depth should be checked against the space behind your counter, and the 2580 mm width means measuring the delivery route and doorways well in advance. Because it uses a hydrocarbon refrigerant, servicing should be done by an engineer familiar with R290 systems.
