Why this flat glass serve over fridge earns its place
The Blizzard ZETA200 is a two-metre flat-glass serve-over counter built to put fresh product in front of the customer at the point of sale. The low, flat glass front gives an uninterrupted sightline across the full 2025 mm span, so a deli, patisserie or farm-shop counter can merchandise the day's range while staff serve from behind. It is a front-of-house cabinet designed to sell on sight, not a back-of-house store.
Day to day it runs on automatic defrost, so the counter clears frost on its own cycle without staff having to switch it off and drain it down. Its climate class 3 rating means it is built to hold temperature in a normal, moderately warm trading room rather than an unheated back area. Keep it clear of direct heat and strong sunlight and it will work through a full service without manual intervention.
The counter measures 2025 mm wide, 800 mm deep and 1233 mm high and weighs 191 kg gross, so plan the delivery route and final siting before it arrives — at just over two metres wide it needs a clear run through doorways and around corners, and enough hands or handling equipment to position it safely. It uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low environmental impact. Site it on a firm, level floor that can carry the weight.
