Why this salad bar earns its place
The CW630 is CED's Kubus drop-in multideck, built for assisted service across three tiers. Rather than standing as a freestanding cabinet, it is designed to drop into a counter or bespoke joinery so the refrigerated display sits flush in a serving run. Stock is presented across open tiers at the front, seen by the customer and served across the counter — the format for delis, patisserie counters and served food where staff hand the product over rather than the customer reaching in. It holds 3 gastronorm (1/1) displays, giving you 1175 mm of linear counter frontage.
As an open-fronted display held at −1 to +5°C, it keeps chilled stock on show for browsing while staff serve to order. The cooling is fan-assisted, using R290 refrigerant for environmental efficiency. Check the temperature range against the products you intend to display, since served fresh food has tighter holding needs than packaged lines. At 63.8 dB(A), it runs quietly for a front-of-house counter position.
Being a drop-in unit, it needs a prepared aperture in the counter to sit into, so the cut-out and services must be planned before install. The external dimensions are 1175 mm wide × 700 mm deep × 784 mm tall, and it weighs 157 kg gross. Take these from the specification table when setting out the counter, and confirm the socket and electrical supply on site before delivery. Our team can help you confirm the cut-out and installation requirements.
