The CED Kubus KMDA3 is a drop-in ambient multideck — a tiered display insert measuring 1175 mm wide and 775 mm high, built to sit flush inside a counter aperture or gondola run rather than stand as a cabinet in its own right. Being ambient, it merchandises room-temperature lines: bread and bakery, preserves, packaged snacks and dry produce, on three open shelves that keep stock at eye level and easy to reach, with capacity for three full-size gastronorm trays of goods.
As an ambient unit there is no refrigeration cycle to run or defrost, so day-to-day operation is simply keeping the shelving faced up and stocked. The unit weighs only 111 kg and draws minimal power (230V, 100 W), making it quick and cheap to install without special electrical infrastructure. The drop-in format is designed to blend into an existing fixture, so the display reads as part of the counter rather than a separate machine.
