The CW657 is a full-width drop-in multideck in CED's Designline range, built to slot into a display run and present chilled stock on tiered open shelves facing the customer. At 1525mm wide and standing 750mm high at the counter, it puts a long stretch of open chilled merchandising into a main-run position, holding 268 litres across three adjustable shelves plus a 1/1 gastronorm well below. It is a main-run cabinet rather than an in-fill format, so it is the way to put substantial open display into a counter or gondola line. The rear sliding doors are the defining feature: stock is loaded and topped up from behind, keeping restocking off the customer side of the display.
Day to day it works as an open-front chilled display with rear loading: the front stays open for the customer while staff restock through the rear sliding doors, away from the shopfloor. It is a chilled refrigerated display rather than a freezer, so it is built for fresh chilled lines, not frozen stock. R290 refrigerant keeps the chill efficient, and the cabinet weighs 207 kg when installed. The 70.7 dB(A) sound level is slightly higher than slimline models due to the wider cooling footprint, which is typical for main-run fixtures.
