Why this multideck earns its place
The CED Kubus CW646 is a drop-in self-service multideck fridge, measuring 1175 mm wide and 775 mm high, built to seat into a counter aperture or gondola and hold chilled stock on open shelving the customer serves themselves from. It is the format for chilled grab-and-go — pre-packed sandwiches, drinks, dairy and food-to-go — where an open front keeps pick-up fast at the point of sale.
As a self-service multideck the front is open for customer access, with three tiered shelves holding up to 174 kg of chilled product and keeping lines faced up and visible. The cabinet chills using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, runs from a 230V mains connection, and holds the food core between 2°C and 5°C throughout the trading day. Noise level is 70.7 dB(A), and the unit weighs 170 kg when empty.
Because it is a drop-in unit, installation centres on a correctly sized aperture in the host counter or fixture — confirm the 1175 mm width against your opening before the fixture is built. The cabinet draws approximately 1.7 kW when running and comes with a lifting kit and 2 m lead for installation.
