Why this multideck earns its place
The Kubus CW644 is a drop-in multideck built for self-service merchandising, measuring 1175 mm wide and holding three tiers of chilled stock. Its open front presents grab-and-go and food-to-go lines on show and within reach rather than shut behind a door, with a product capacity of 174 kg across the tiered shelves. As a drop-in unit it is designed to merchandise within a counter run or fixture rather than stand alone as a cabinet.
In daily use an open-front multideck depends on a clear, even flow of chilled air across the display. The CW644 chills using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and runs from a 230V supply, holding a food core between 2°C and 5°C. Stock needs to be faced to the load line and not overfilled, because blocking the shelf returns or the air path is the usual cause of warm spots. The unit weighs 158 kg and runs at 70.7 dB(A), making it quiet enough for front-of-house display.
The drop-in format makes fitting as much a joinery task as an electrical one. The aperture, plinth and services want planning before the surrounding counter is built, with the cabinet drawing around 1.7 kW when running. Set the 1175 mm width against your aperture, confirm electrical supply and plinth support, and talk to our team early if you want the layout checked before building.
