Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The RFG12-2 is Blizzard's double-tier flat-glass display unit, built to put cakes and patisserie on show behind double-glazed glass. It uses the same 1200 x 680 mm footprint as the taller triple-tier model, but at 1200 mm high it gives a lower two-shelf presentation for counters where sightlines, service height or available height matter.
The cabinet holds 530 litres and works across a +2 to +8 °C temperature range, using R290 refrigerant, climate class 4 performance and a digital temperature controller. Two adjustable glass shelves, under-lit LED shelf lighting and included pricing strips help you separate cake, dessert and chilled patisserie lines while keeping the display easy to read from the customer side.
Staff serve from behind through two rear sliding glass doors, and the removable glass doors make cleaning less awkward at close-down. Stainless steel construction suits regular front-of-house use, the rear-vented layout is intended for built-in display runs, and four low-profile castors help with final positioning once the 188 kg unit has reached its site.
