Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The 1500 Cold Display Straight is a mid-width refrigerated display counter for cakes, desserts, chilled patisserie and deli counter lines. Its 1500 mm width gives a useful display run without the space demand of the 2 metre model, while the 680 mm depth and 1200 mm height suit a customer-facing counter layout.
Combisteel's manufacturer notes are practical: double-glazed glass, a front window that can be opened and a stainless steel top/countertop. That combination gives customers a clear straight-glass view, while staff get better access for arranging product and cleaning the display. LED interior lighting keeps the contents visible across the run, and the black finish fits neatly into front-of-house spaces.
For holding performance, the cabinet is specified at +2 to +8 °C with ventilated cooling, automatic defrost and R290 refrigerant, in ambient conditions up to 30 °C. It is lockable, weighs 245 kg gross and runs from a 230V, 50Hz supply, so plan the route in, the final floor position and the electrical point before delivery.
