Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Cold Display is a Combisteel flat-glass cake display fridge: a 270-litre refrigerated patisserie cabinet whose flat glazing gives a clean, straight-on view of the product. It is built to merchandise cakes, gateaux and cold desserts across a serving counter, keeping stock chilled at +2 to +8 °C and on show so customers choose by sight and staff serve straight from the display.
As a chilled display cabinet it runs its own refrigeration and holds finished product at serving condition through the day, with an LED interior light so the display works day and night. The flat glass keeps the view undistorted and the chilled air contained, which is what a patisserie counter needs — presentation first, with the cabinet doing the cooling behind it. It is built with ventilated cooling and runs on a single 230V mains supply, using environment-friendly R 290 refrigerant with automatic defrost.
At 900 mm wide, 675 mm deep and 1210 mm tall, this is a substantial floor-standing display built for counter placement. Plan its position and access route before delivery: confirm your doorways and the route to its final spot, allow a level floor and clearance around the cabinet for airflow, and site the electrical socket within reach. Keep it clear of ovens, heaters and direct sun so the refrigeration can hold temperature — it runs quietly at 56.8 dB(A) and weighs 172 kg, so check the floor can carry it and position it where heat and vibration won't affect the display.
