Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The CW5V is a drop-in buffet display built to sit into a counter and present chilled food for self-service or assisted service. The stainless steel well runs 1678 mm wide and 576 mm deep, giving a long, shallow display line for plated dishes, containers and grab-and-go items across a 277-litre gross volume. It is a display cabinet designed to be seen into, not a storage fridge tucked away.
The unit holds +2 to +8 °C under an electronic controller with automatic defrost, so it keeps food at a safe display temperature without staff intervention. It uses R290 refrigerant with a 130 g charge and is rated at 42 dB, making it quiet enough for a counter where customers and staff are close by.
The display well measures 1678 × 576 × 186 mm, so it is shallow by design and needs a counter cut-out and support sized to suit. It draws from a standard 13A supply at 235 W, and its 1664.4 kWh annual figure works out to about £416 a year at 25p/kWh. Gross weight is 64 kg, so plan the drop-in and support accordingly.
