Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
A drop-in curved refrigerated display is built to sit flush inside counter joinery rather than stand alone, turning a stretch of counter into a chilled display run. At 1440 mm wide and 720 mm deep, it is sized for a standard serving counter; the 1430 mm height puts the curved glass at eye level for staff and customers alike, while the closed curved-glass front keeps patisserie, deli and prepared chilled lines contained. Front-of-house staff serve across the top rather than customers reaching in, and the whole unit weighs 150 kg, making secure fixing and adequate counter support essential before commissioning.
Behind the glass the cabinet holds stock at chilled display temperature (+0 to +4 °C) while the closed front limits warm-air ingress and keeps product presentable through the trading day. The curved glass gives an uninterrupted sightline onto the display from the customer side, and the closed format means less dust and handling than an open counter. LED interior lighting is fitted as standard. Wipe-down glass and an accessible interior keep daily cleaning straightforward between service.
Because it is a drop-in unit, the key install question is the counter aperture: the opening in your joinery has to match the cabinet (1440 × 720 mm cut-out) and leave room for the refrigeration to breathe. The unit needs a 230V single-phase electrical supply. Confirm the cut-out, access route and final electrical connection before you build the counter around it — our team can talk through siting and specification.
