Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The Fiji 4 is a scoop ice-cream display freezer built to present ice cream for serving, with 0.24 m² of display area and a white finish inside and out. It is a compact scooping unit sized for a parlour, kiosk or café that wants tubs on show at the counter rather than a large storage well.
It runs a -18 to -14 °C band with ventilated cooling, which moves chilled air across the display for even temperature, and clears frost with an automatic hot-gas defrost so there is no manual defrost step. It is rated climate class 5, the highest ambient band, which suits it to warm, busy service areas. On the energy label it carries class C at 2372.5 kWh a year, working out at about £593 a year at 25p/kWh — a figure that varies with tariff, ambient conditions and use.
For installation it weighs 67 kg net (77 kg packed) and draws from a standard 13-amp 220-240 V supply, using R290 refrigerant with a 120 g charge. Its compact weight makes it manageable to position and reposition as a serving point.
