Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The MILLENNIUM ST20 is a scoop ice cream display freezer built to put a full flavour range in front of customers at the counter. It carries a 1.19 m² display area and a 1080-litre gross capacity, so a wide spread of scooping tubs sits on show at once. The white exterior and stainless steel interior keep the cabinet clean-looking and easy to wipe down in a busy service area.
Cooling is ventilated, circulating air to hold the display evenly between -20 and -14 °C — the band that keeps scooping ice cream firm and at serving texture through the day. Defrost is automatic using hot gas, so there is no manual routine to run. The cabinet is rated to climate class 7 and runs at 58 dB, with an EEI of 48.7% and energy class D; at its rated 10,858.8 kWh a year that works out to about £2,715 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1826 × 1054 × 1356 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 2000 × 1150 × 1620 mm, weighing 363 kg net and 421 kg packed, so plan the delivery route and a firm floor before it arrives. It draws 2560 W through a dedicated 16 amp supply at 220-240 V, and uses R290 refrigerant with a 148 g charge.
