Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISA MILLENNIUM LX12 is a ventilated scoop ice cream display freezer built as a front-of-house feature. Its 0.71 m² display area gives a broad flavour spread for scooping to order, set behind a white exterior with a stainless steel interior lining that stands up to daily service.
Ventilated cooling drives an even temperature across the display, holding -20 to -14 °C, with automatic hot-gas defrost clearing frost without staff intervention. Rated to climate class 7, it carries an energy class D label and a measured 54 dB noise level, which is worth siting with in a customer-facing space. At the verified 7456.9 kWh a year, running cost is about £1864 a year at 25p/kWh, so match its hours to your trade.
On installation, the cabinet is 1166 mm wide, 1080 mm deep and 1356 mm high, and ships packed at 1620 mm high — measure your doorways and route in before delivery. It plugs into a standard 13 A supply, draws 1400 W at 220-240 V/50 Hz and runs on natural R290 refrigerant with a 148 g charge. At 250 kg net (290 kg gross) it needs proper handling into position.
