Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The MINI CREAM 2V is a counter-top scoop ice cream display that adds a serving point to a café, kiosk or shop counter without taking any floor space. Its 0.12 m² display area shows a small run of tubs at eye level where customers queue and order, turning spare counter space into an impulse ice cream point. The white exterior and stainless steel interior keep it clean-looking and easy to wipe down in a busy service area.
In use it holds -25 to -10 °C, cold enough to keep scoop ice cream firm and workable across its display band. Cooling is static and defrost is manual, so build a defrost into the regular cleaning routine. It is rated energy class B at 1047.5 kWh a year, which comes to about £262 a year at 25p/kWh — and being a small unit it draws just 90 W.
The cabinet measures 490 mm wide, 790 mm deep and 345 mm high, so it needs a counter with enough depth to take it and clearance above for loading. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, 50 Hz, uses R600a refrigerant with a 22 g charge, and is rated to climate class 4. At 32 kg gross and 28 kg net it is light enough to reposition when the counter layout changes.
