Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The Ice Cream Display Zanzibar 6 is a static-cooled ice cream display freezer from Combisteel, built to hold and present ice cream at the point of sale. It holds 260 litres and gives a parlour, kiosk or café counter a dedicated display freezer that keeps stock visible and to hand during service, rather than tucked away in back-of-house storage. It is a merchandising cabinet first: the job is to put the product in front of the customer and let it sell itself.
Cooling is static, which means the cabinet chills by natural convection rather than a circulating fan — a quiet, simple arrangement that suits a customer-facing position. The digital controller holds it at -10 to -20 °C with automatic defrost, so you do not need to manage temperature or defrost manually. It runs as a display freezer, holding presented ice cream through the trading day without fuss.
Before delivery it is worth checking the cabinet against the space it has to go into. It measures 939 mm wide, 674 mm deep and 935 mm tall externally, and weighs 58 kg, so you can confirm it will clear your doorway and sit comfortably on the counter run. It runs on 230V at 14 kW using R 290 refrigerant. Craven Cooling delivers across the UK and can talk through siting, clearances and electrical requirements so the unit is ready to switch on when it lands.
