Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The Corisca is the compact black model in Combisteel's static-cooled ice cream display line, built for operators who want a scooping counter without giving over the footprint of a long cabinet. At 909 mm wide, 684 mm deep and 1229 mm high, it is much easier to place than a full parlour run, while the 231 litre gross volume and 785 × 520 × 688 mm internal space still give you a useful working display for loose ice cream.
It runs as a static freezer across a -24 to -14 °C range, so it is there to keep scooping ice cream on show and ready for service rather than acting as back-of-house bulk storage. Static cooling keeps the system simple and avoids a fan blasting across the product surface, which matters when the cabinet sits in front of customers and staff are lifting tubs through a busy session. The black finish also keeps attention on the colours in the display rather than the cabinet body.
Plan the route and position before it arrives: the cabinet is 71 kg gross, connects to a 230V, 50Hz supply and is rated for use up to 30 °C ambient. It uses R290 refrigerant, has manual defrost and no interior light, so place it where the store or counter lighting already shows the product well. Give it a solid, level position with airflow around the refrigeration gear, keep it away from direct sun and heat sources, and leave staff enough room to clean, defrost and restock it properly.
