Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
This Combisteel ice cream display freezer is a white countertop unit designed to sell frozen impulse lines from the counter itself. It holds 3 litres of packaged ice cream on show in a compact footprint — just 670 mm wide and 375 mm tall — turning spare counter space beside the till into a frozen display. The cabinet opens on the operating side, so staff serve from behind while customers see the product from the front.
It is a frozen-display cabinet built to keep packaged ice cream firm and presentable at −16 to −18 °C while on show, not for long-term bulk storage. The static cooling system with 60 mm insulation and manual defrost is simple and reliable; an LED light shows stock clearly. Sitting on the counter puts the product directly in the customer's eyeline at the moment they pay, which is where frozen impulse sales are won. Access from the serving side lets staff reload and hand over quickly, keeping the display presentable through service.
Being a countertop model at just 67 kg, it needs a solid, level surface with room around it for ventilation (50 mm clearance at the back) and for the operator-side opening to clear. Decide which side your staff will work from before it arrives. It runs from 230 V mains at 0.195 kW — confirm a socket is within reach and check the external footprint (670 × 750 × 375 mm) against your counter before you find its spot.
