Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The Ice Cream Display Malta is the thirteen-pan model for operators who want a broad scooping range without stepping up to the largest cabinet. It is a white static-cooled display freezer with 557 litres of gross volume and internal dimensions of 1530 × 560 × 687 mm, so the customer sees a proper run of flavours while staff can work directly from the counter.
The supplier-stated temperature range is -22 to -15 °C, with static cooling and LED interior lighting. That makes the Malta a merchandising freezer as much as a cold cabinet: the range is visible, lit and ready for served-to-order scooping, while static cooling avoids fan-blown air across the product surface. It uses manual defrost, so build defrosting and cleaning into your routine rather than treating it like a fit-and-forget storage freezer.
Check the site carefully: the cabinet is 1662 mm wide, 825 mm deep, 1257 mm high and 130 kg gross, with 60 mm insulation, R290 refrigerant and a 230V, 50Hz connection. It is specified for up to 30 °C ambient, but like any display freezer it should be kept away from direct sun, door draughts and heat sources. Give the condenser clear airflow and place it where the queue can see the flavours before they order.
