Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD IC402SC-SO is a scoop ice cream display freezer built for served sales. At 1180 mm wide with 401 litres of gross volume, it fronts a spread of tubs for scooping straight from the cabinet, holding a working range through a busy trading day without constant restocking, in a plain white finish.
It holds -24 to -14 °C with a mechanical controller and manual defrost, running at 45 dB, and is rated to climate class 5. The cabinet uses R290 refrigerant with a 105 g charge. At energy class D on 877.1 kWh a year, that works out at about £219 a year at 25p/kWh, subject to how heavily it is opened for service.
The internal dimensions are 1180 × 510 × 655 mm (W×D×H) and the gross weight is 130 kg, so it is worth positioning before loading. It draws 320 W on a standard 13 A supply. The refrigerant is hydrocarbon R290 with a 105 g charge.
