Why this one earns its place
OSMOS Universal Glass and Dishwasher Detergent is a non-foaming liquid built to work in both machine dishwashers and glasswashers, so a kitchen or bar can run one detergent across both machines instead of stocking two separate products. It’s developed as a single-use formula for effectively washing crockery, utensils and glassware together.
It performs well in soft-to-medium water conditions, with the use rate adjusted depending on local water hardness, and it’s built to prevent the build-up of scale inside the warewasher itself over repeated cycles, protecting the machine as well as getting the wash clean.
By eliminating the need for two separate detergents, it simplifies stock and dosing for sites running both machine types. This pack is classed as a hazardous goods item, so it should be stored and handled with appropriate care, and due to Hazardous Goods delivery regulations it’s non-returnable, with the standard money-back guarantee not applying.
Supplied as a twin pack of 2 x 5-litre bottles rather than the single 20-litre format – useful for sites wanting smaller, easier-to-handle containers.

Read the label and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet — the pictograms tell you what you are holding.

Who could be harmed, and how badly? Judge likelihood against severity before anyone opens the cap.

Eliminate or substitute first, engineer and organise next — PPE is the last line, never the first.

Keep the controls working: check ventilation, dosing equipment and storage stay as they should be.

Everyone who uses it knows the hazards, the correct dilution and the PPE — before the first shift, not after.

Products and processes change. Reassess when they do, and keep the record that proves it.
Guidance summary only — the product label, the current safety data sheet and your own COSHH assessment remain the authority.
