Why this one earns its place
Grease is one of the hardest things to shift consistently in a working kitchen, and SURE’s cleaner and degreaser is built specifically to eliminate tough residue from equipment, appliances, surfaces, floors, extraction units and tables. Like the rest of the SURE range, it’s made entirely from renewable plant-based materials – sugar beet, maize, straw bran, wheat bran and coconut – and is fully biodegradable.
It contains none of the hazardous artificial dyes, perfumes, quats, chlorine, phosphates or oxide compounds found in many degreasers, and is formulated to achieve the lowest hazard classification available – a genuine benefit for venues managing COSHH exposure for staff who handle it daily.
The concentrated formula is designed for use with a chemical dosing system, giving consistent, cost-effective dilution and less packaging waste than a diluted equivalent. The bottle is colour-coded for quick identification, and refills from the matching FA403 refill bottle rather than being discarded.
For heavy-duty degreasing across the kitchen – not just the fryer, but the walls, floors and extraction that grease finds its way onto – this gives you industrial cleaning power from a lower-hazard formula.

SDS
Read the label and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet — the pictograms tell you what you are holding.

Who could be harmed, and how badly? Judge likelihood against severity before anyone opens the cap.

Eliminate or substitute first, engineer and organise next — PPE is the last line, never the first.

Keep the controls working: check ventilation, dosing equipment and storage stay as they should be.

Everyone who uses it knows the hazards, the correct dilution and the PPE — before the first shift, not after.

Products and processes change. Reassess when they do, and keep the record that proves it.
Guidance summary only — the product label, the current safety data sheet and your own COSHH assessment remain the authority.
