Why this kitchen canopie earns its place
Get extraction wrong and you feel it immediately — heat pooling over the line, grease finding its way onto every surface, a kitchen that's uncomfortable to work in by mid-service. The Parry General Canopy is built to stop that: a stainless steel canopy with its own internal fan, pulling gases, fumes, heat and grease up and out before they spread.
It's sized at 1500mm wide and 1000mm deep, standing 600mm tall — proportioned to sit over a solid run of cooking equipment and create what Parry describe as "uniform airflow" across the whole span, rather than one hot spot under the fan and cold corners either side. The top cut-out is built for 350mm ducting, so it's a straightforward spec match if you're planning or already running a 350mm duct run, and it's rated for appliances up to 700mm deep — enough to sit over most standard ranges, fryers and griddles without the equipment overhanging the canopy's edge.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, which matters as much for hygiene as durability: a canopy sitting over cooking equipment collects grease constantly, and stainless is what lets you actually get it properly clean rather than just wiped down. It carries 2 years parts warranty, giving you cover through the period when a hardworking extraction fan is most likely to show up any early issues.
