Why this electric oven earns its place
A strong, practical oven from Lincat’s Silverlink range, the V7/4 is built for busy kitchens that need a full-size 1/1 GN oven with reliable everyday performance. It has a stainless-steel exterior, a silver finish and a substantial 49.4 kg gross weight, giving it the feel of serious back-of-house kit rather than a lightweight countertop afterthought.
The fan-assisted design is there to help push heat through the cavity more evenly, which the manufacturer says reduces cooking times and improves heat distribution. Its operating temperature range runs from 50 to 250°C, so it can handle a broad spread of cooking tasks without needing to be pushed outside its rated envelope.
Inside, the vitreous enamelled chamber has radiused corners and removable side shelf supports to make cleaning less of a chore. The side-opening doors use robust hinges and a ball catch for easier access, and the oven is also designed to support suitably sized Silverlink countertop units such as boiling tops, bain maries, griddles and work tops.
