THE WORKING VIEW

Why this convection oven earns its place

Built for kitchens where power and reliability trump digital complexity, the INOXTREND TGHA004EH pairs a robust 4.9 kW three-phase motor with straightforward analogue temperature dials. No software to learn, no digital menus to navigate—just set the temperature, choose manual or automatic humidification, and let it run. Its stainless steel construction inside and out withstands constant service in high-volume environments: hotels prepping for multiple seatings, school kitchens feeding hundreds daily, or contract caterers managing multiple on-site events.

The cavity fits four 460×360 mm shelves (delivered bare), giving you capacity for serious batch work—whole trays of roasted vegetables, batches of roasted poultry, or large gratins. Automatic preheating means the oven reaches temperature quickly, minimising downtime between services. The humidifier system (automatic or manual control) adds moisture during roasting and baking, improving crust colour on breads and ensuring more even browning on batch-cooked proteins without risk of drying.

At 720 × 680 × 600 mm, it's a compact footprint for high output. The double-glazed glass door and internal lighting let kitchen staff see cooking progress without opening up. Rounded internal corners simplify daily cleaning; sturdy stainless feet keep it stable under the rigours of commercial service. At 4.9 kW on three-phase supply, it's sized for kitchens with heavier electrical load and the stability that industrial power brings.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Analogue dials are mechanical—no software to crash, no learning curve for temporary staff. Just turn to the temperature you want. You lose programmable recipes, but you gain immediate, intuitive control and rock-solid reliability. Many experienced kitchens prefer this simplicity.

No—it means you trigger steam injection by hand when you're roasting or baking. If you're doing consistent batch roasting (say, every service), you'll quickly develop a rhythm: oven up, load trays, trigger steam, set timer. It's less automated than digital programming, but manual control gives experienced cooks precise feel for their dishes.

Not if your kitchen already has three-phase—which most commercial kitchens do. If you're in a smaller venue with only single-phase, you'd need an upgrade. Ring our team on 01792 732702 with your electrical details; they'll confirm whether three-phase is already available or what an upgrade would cost.

The oven holds four 460×360 mm shelves. Standard 2/1 GN pans fit two per shelf (eight pans total); 1/1 GN pans fit one per shelf (four pans). For a hotel roast service, that's typically four full trays of protein or vegetables—substantial capacity for batch cooking.

Sharp corners trap flour dust, grease splatter, and old food residue—hard to clean, easy to miss during daily checks. Rounded corners slope into the cavity, so debris washes straight out. It takes five minutes off your daily clean and keeps the oven genuinely hygienic long-term, which matters for HACCP compliance.

Weekly drain and refill the water tank. On hard-water sites, descale the nozzle monthly to avoid mineral buildup. For annual service or if it stops working, our team on 01792 732702 can arrange a visit—we're based in South Wales but cover the UK.
