Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The UR400X1 is a single-door upright fridge for kitchens that need full-height chilled storage without giving up floor space. Its 600 mm-wide footprint holds 350 litres of net capacity (361 litres gross) on four white wire shelves, behind a single hinged solid door. The exterior is SS430 stainless steel with a white interior, so it wipes down easily and stands up to a working back-of-house.
Day to day it holds a -2 to +8 °C band under an electronic controller, with automatic off-cycle defrost that clears the evaporator without a manual routine. It runs on R600a hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 70 g charge and is rated at 45 dB in operation. With an energy class of A and a low 80 W draw, it uses 237.2 kWh a year on published figures — about £59 a year at 25p/kWh — one of the more economical ways to add a full-height fridge.
The cabinet measures 600 × 615 × 1855 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 680 × 680 × 2100 mm, so the slim 600 mm width clears most standard doorways with the packing removed. It weighs 77 kg net and 82 kg gross, connects to a standard 13 A, 220-240 V / 50 Hz supply, and is rated climate class 4. Internal working space is 510 × 485 × 1620 mm.
