Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The Tefcold UR400W1 is a single-door upright commercial refrigerator sized for back-of-house storage, offering 350 litres of net usable space (361 litres gross) behind one solid hinged door. Four white wire shelves carry chilled stock — dairy, prepped ingredients, bottled goods — and the -2 to +8 °C range covers standard fridge holding through to lightly sub-zero, making it a general-purpose store for a kitchen, bar or servery.
It runs on R600a with a 70 g charge and defrosts automatically on an off-cycle basis, so no manual intervention is needed. The electronic controller holds the setpoint and the cabinet is rated energy class A, drawing just 80 W and 237.2 kWh a year — about £59 a year at 25p/kWh. At 45 dB it is quiet enough for a servery or bar area, and it carries a climate class 4 rating for warmer working ambients.
The cabinet measures 600 × 615 × 1855 mm externally, a single-width footprint that fits a standard kitchen run, and weighs 77 kg net (82 kg gross). It ships packed at 680 × 680 × 2100 mm, so check doorway height on delivery. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V, with white steel inside and out for easy cleaning.
