Why this upright fridge earns its place
The Foster EcoPro G3 GP604-PEB is built around one specific difference from the standard EP700H-41/104: a stainless steel back cover that lets it be positioned as an island unit, finished on all visible sides rather than relying on a wall to hide an unfinished rear. It suits open-plan kitchens, central prep islands, or any layout where the fridge is viewed and accessed from more than one side.
Beyond the island-ready back, the spec matches Foster's EcoPro G3 platform closely: 480 litres net volume, running +1 to +4°C with air distribution optimised by CFD design technology to keep cooling even across fully loaded shelving. Running cost comes in at 452.2 kWh a year, Energy Class A, EEI 23.77%, on a 1239W input — genuinely efficient for a 600-litre single-door cabinet. Foster rates it for efficient operation in ambient conditions up to 43°C.
Construction is stainless steel exterior and interior, finished with the stainless steel back cover that defines this variant, and Foster Shield technology adds advanced temperature control and hygienic design on top. The PureControl display uses pure LED InGaN technology for a sharper, longer-lasting readout than a standard display, with gateway connectivity available as an option. Refrigerant is R290, and the cabinet carries 2 years on-site parts and labour warranty.
