Why this double door pizza prep counter earns its place
The INFRICO ME1000PIZZA is a compact double-door refrigerated pizza prep counter, built to put chilled dough and topping storage directly beneath a granite worktop. At 978 x 700 x 1139 mm (W×D×H) it holds 230 litres gross across two doors, each fitted with a GN1/1 shelf and three pairs of tray slides, with the worktop above set up to accept GN1/6 gastronorm containers — supplied separately — for topping wells within reach of the pizza board.
Cooling is ventilated and defrost automatic, run through a digital controller with a temperature display, so there's no manual defrost cycle to plan into busy service. Climate Class 4 rates it for a normal working kitchen environment, and it runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with negligible global warming potential.
Build is high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, exterior and interior, with rounded internal corners for cleaning to HACCP standard, topped with a genuine granite worktop — hard-wearing and heat-tolerant against a hot pizza peel. Both doors carry a replaceable gasket, and a glass door option with LED lighting is available. Gross weight is 164 kg, the heaviest of the ME1000 counter range, reflecting the granite top. It runs from a standard 13A single-phase supply.
