Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UD2-3 is a dual temperature Gastronorm counter built for the working line, giving back-of-house a stainless steel storage base beneath the prep surface. It is stainless steel inside and out, wiping down between services and standing up to a busy kitchen. With 265 litres gross and 154 litres net across a 1000 × 565 × 205 mm internal space, it keeps Gastronorm stock within reach of the pass rather than a walk across the kitchen.
Cooling is ventilated for even temperature across the load, and defrost is automatic hot gas, so the evaporator clears itself on cycle without staff stopping to intervene. An electronic controller runs the unit and a rated 42 dB keeps it quiet enough to sit near a service area. It carries climate class 5, so it holds temperature in a warm, busy kitchen. On its rated 3712.1 kWh a year that works out at about £928 a year at 25p/kWh, energy class G.
The cabinet measures 1230 × 700 × 865 mm externally and ships at 1310 × 770 × 1000 mm packed, so check your access route against the crated width before delivery. It plugs into a standard 13 amp supply at 220-240V and runs on R290 refrigerant with a 140 g charge. At 131 kg net it is a two-person lift to position and level.
