Why this drawer fridge earns its place
The 700 Refrigerated Counter 8 Drawers is a full drawer-format prep counter: a bench-height chilled cabinet where eight pull-out drawers replace conventional doors, with a continuous stainless steel work surface on top. Its 2230 × 700 × 860 mm footprint gives 393 litres gross capacity, with a 1669 × 530 × 564 mm internal space divided for organised service-line prep. It suits a fast line where cooks reach into chilled stock constantly and want mise en place sorted by component rather than stacked behind a door.
In service the drawers are the point: portioned prep sits sorted across eight compartments, each pulled and closed in a moment, so the operator opens a small section rather than the whole cabinet. Ventilated R600a cooling, automatic defrost and a digital controller hold the +2 to +8 °C band, while 60 mm insulation helps the counter recover during repeated access. The lockable stainless steel AISI 201 body is useful where chilled prep needs to stay secured outside service.
This is a long bench-run unit from Combisteel's Energy Line range, with a 203 kg gross weight to plan for at delivery. Stand it on a level floor with clearance around the condenser, allow space in front for the drawers to pull out fully, and check the 230 V, 50 Hz, 3 kW supply against your kitchen electrics. It is rated for ambient temperatures up to 30 °C, so siting and ventilation matter if the counter is going into a hot cookline.
