Why this glass topping unit earns its place
The 7450.0007 is a refrigerated topping unit with a glass lid, built to sit at the make-line and hold six 1/4-size Gastronorm pans of prepared toppings, garnishes and fillings chilled at +2 to +8 °C and on show. At 1400 mm wide and 435 mm tall, it's compact enough for tight counters but wide enough to hold six separate ingredients. The glass top means the pans stay visible, which suits a servery or open make-line where staff and customers can see the ingredients while they are held cold. It turns a stretch of counter into an assembly point without hiding the food away.
In service the glass lid keeps the chilled toppings covered and on view, holding the cold between builds while leaving the pans on display. The stainless steel 18/8 construction stands up to daily washing and kitchen splashes. The Gastronorm pans lift straight out for restocking and washing, so the station keeps moving through a shift. Running at just 40 dB(A), it operates quietly enough not to distract from service. It is built for a make-line assembling the same components repeatedly, where mise en place needs to stay chilled and reachable at the point of service.
This is a countertop unit on a standard 230V supply, made to sit on a worktop or on a matching refrigerated base at the make-line. At 51 kg, it's substantial without being unwieldy. The glass lid and stainless body wipe down and suit a HACCP cleaning routine, and the unit wants a socket within reach and airflow clearance to shed heat. Confirm your counter depth and the external dimensions in the specification before you site it.
