Why this glass topping unit earns its place
This is a countertop refrigerated topping unit built to sit on an existing worktop and keep seven 1/4 GN pans of prepped ingredients chilled at the point of service. At 1500 mm wide and 335 mm deep, it fits into a tight service line where every millimetre of counter space counts. It suits pizza, salad, deli and burger lines where toppings need to stay cold and to hand without taking floor space.
In use, the pans drop into a chilled well and a glass canopy keeps them covered against dust and warm kitchen air while staying in full view. It holds a steady +2 to +8 °C with automatic defrost, working as a holding unit for already-cold ingredients and keeping them in their chilled band while staff build and plate to order. Built in stainless steel 18/8, it wipes down between services.
It installs as a self-contained countertop unit weighing 54 kg, so there is no plumbing to plan and no floor build. It draws just 0.11 kW, making running cost low and mainly dependent on your tariff. Set it on a level, load-rated bench near the pass, leave clearance around the condenser for airflow, and it is ready to load with pans.
