Why this glass topping unit earns its place
The Combisteel 7450.0013 is a refrigerated glass counter-top unit built for the assembly end of a working kitchen. It holds ten 1/4 GN pans of prepared toppings — salad leaves, sliced meats, dressings, pizza and pasta garnishes — under a clear glass canopy, keeping them chilled at +2 to +8 °C and in reach so a line cook can build and dress plates without walking back to the fridge. At 2000 mm wide, it's the widest in the topping-unit range, ideal for high-throughput operations where ten separate ingredients need to stay in front of the assembly point.
Through service the glass top keeps cold air over the pans and shields the food from splashes and handling, while the ten individual 1/4 GN containers let staff pull, refill or swap a single topping without disturbing the rest of the line. Stainless steel construction withstands daily washing and busy kitchen splashes. The standard Gastronorm format means pans drop straight in from your prep fridges and lift out at close for cleaning, so restocking and end-of-day hygiene stay quick. At just 40 dB(A), it runs quietly enough not to dominate the pass.
The unit is designed to sit on an existing worktop, prep counter or service pass rather than take up floor space — it weighs 66 kg, so plan for a stable, level surface and a socket at the point of use. Because it runs to the Gastronorm standard, it slots into a GN-based workflow without introducing new tray sizes. Running on a standard 230V supply, it's straightforward to site wherever your make-line is positioned. Craven Cooling supplies, delivers and services the unit.
