Why this solid lid chest freezer earns its place
The CF700 SL is a large chest freezer built for professional kitchens and shops storing ice cream and frozen goods in volume. It holds 660 litres gross and 600 litres net in a single chest cabinet, with a white finish inside and out. The horizontal layout puts a lot of frozen capacity into one floor-standing unit.
It holds a frozen band of -24 to -14 °C, cold enough for ice cream, under mechanical control with static cooling. Defrost is manual, cleared on a routine that suits your kitchen's schedule. It runs quietly at 42 dB and is rated to climate class 4 for warm back-of-house conditions. On energy class D at 1197.2 kWh a year, running cost works out at about £299 a year at 25p/kWh.
External dimensions are 2060 × 716 × 903 mm, so it is a long cabinet — worth measuring the floor run and delivery route before it arrives; packed it measures 2150 × 750 × 990 mm. It weighs 114 kg net, runs from a standard 13 A supply on 220-240 V, 50 Hz, and uses 110 g of R290 refrigerant.
