Why this solid lid chest freezer earns its place
The CF450WH is a chest-format commercial freezer built for back-of-house bulk storage. The solid top-opening lid gives full-width access from above, so deep frozen stock stays reachable without the cold loss of a swinging upright door. It is the workhorse layout for holding volume behind the line.
Day to day it runs on R600a refrigerant and is rated to climate class 4, so it holds temperature in warmer, un-airconditioned back rooms. Defrost is manual, so build a periodic defrost-and-drain into the cleaning rota rather than relying on an automatic cycle. Running noise is 48 dB, low enough for most back-of-house settings.
The cabinet measures 1270 × 755 × 840 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 65.5 kg, so check doorway width and a clear delivery path before it arrives. R600a is a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant; keep the standard ventilation clearances around the cabinet.
